PAWS - First data release 2013 April 8

These data represent the first part of the PAWS public data release 
consisting of data from the 30m and combined PdBI+30m imaging of the 
central ~9 kpc of M51a.

The survey and data products are described in the following papers:

UNITS

30m only data:
	Data cubes are in main beam brightness T_mb, moment maps are in
	I_CO ~ K km/s (mom0), v ~ km/s (mom0), FWHM ~ km/s (mom2), and 
        the peak temperature is given in K.	  

Combined PdBI+30m data:
	Data is in brightness temperature (K), has 5 km/s channel width
	and a clean beam of 1.11"x0.97" (1ARCSEC), 3.0" (3ARCSEC) and
	6.0" (6ARCSEC). The provided 0th moment map has units of K km/s.


METHOD

Data reduction of all data cubes (30m, PdBI, PdBI+30m) is described in 
detail in Pety et al. (2013). For the 30m data we closely followed the 
HERACLES recipes (see Leroy et al. 2008).

The PdBI+30m 0th moment map was created using a dilated mask technique 
(described in detail in Colombo et al. in prep.). The procedure used 
for the 30m only moment maps is detailed in Pety et al. (2013).
