ALMA Early Science: Cycle 0

The ALMA Cycle 0 observations have started on Sept. 30th 2011 and will extend up to the end of December 2012. Here is the list of the 122 high-priority projects. Note that a few filler projects may also be observed.

The projects have been grouped in several groups: batch 1 and 2 for the compact configuration, batch 3 for the extended configuration (from March. 2012 on), batch 4 and 5 for filler projects in compact and extended configurations respectively.

ALMA Cycle 0 Call for Proposals

The first Call for Proposals for ALMA Early Science has been issued on March 30th 2011. Deadline was June 30th 2011 15h UT. The Call can be found on the ALMA Science Portal (click on the Call for Proposals tab).
The ALMA Cycle 0 instruments consists in 16 antennas, equipped with bands 3, 6, 7 and 9. Two configurations, with baselines up to 400 m are available. The observations will be performed on a best-effort basis only.
