Face-to-face support

Once ALMA will be in operation, the ARC will provide remote and face-to-face user support for:

  • observations preparation
  • data reduction and analysis
  • archival research
Note, that an helpdesk will be available at the ARC core (ESO) to respond to user enquiries.

Face-to-face support for data reduction is one of the key goal of the IRAM ARC node: such a service has proven to be instrumental in maximizing the scientific output of new instruments. This face-to-face support will be organized in the continuity of the Plateau de Bure interferometer support that has been in place for 15 years. First practical aspects -including travel funding- are described here. More informations will be added on these pages as the procedures and details are defined.
