[alma-sw-ssr] Re: Offline Requirements v3.1

General:

In total, a very nice but intimidating list of requirements. Worried
about feasibility of realization (but maybe that's not important at this
stage).

The use of "must, should, and desirable" instead of "shall" depending on
priority results in redundant information. There are instances int the
document where the priority has changed but the appropriate word has
not. Perhaps it would be best to accept the style of the SSR
Requirements ("shall", independent of priority) for consistency.

p.21  5.1-R1
  "data" -> "calibrated data"
  "ALMA exported data" Has this been defined? Can we list what it is?
  "other instruments supporting common export formats" ; this is very
general; can we be more specific? Would a multiple detector single dish
data set be allowed (SCUBA like)?

p.21 5.1-R5
  Really like the 2nd sentence with the emphasis on spectral cube. Maybe
it should be elevated to the intro?

p.22 5.1-R6
  Is this for single dish (not needed for interferometry)? However, both
need to blank spectral channels.

p.22 5.1-R7
  This seems like a calibration or realtime requirement.

p. 24... Section 2.6.2
  The temporal (4th!) axis has been omitted. Driven by periodic and time
variable phenomena, e.g. solar, planetary, stellar science.
  Needs include (some of this may belong in Visualization section):
   Display of cube slices vs time
   FFT to temporal frequency of a stack of cubes or slices
   Periodic averaging or display of cubes
   Cube movie

p.25 6.2-R7.1
  And resampling at lower resolution after the smoothing?

p 26 6.2-R8.2
  "display for should" -> "display should"

p.27 7.1-R7
  "edition" -> "editting"
