12CO(2-1) and 13CO(2-1) maps of Orion ----------------------------- Observations and data reduction: Observations were performed at the IRAM 30m radiotelescope in different observing runs during 2008. The HERA multipixel array was used, with each polarization tuned to the 12CO(2-1) and 13CO(2-1) lines (230.5 and 220.4 GHz, respectively), and connected to the versatile spectrometer VESPA with 320 kHz of spectral resolution (~0.4 km/s). The 30m beam at the observed frequencies is ~11'', and the main beam efficiencies are 0.524 and 0.545 for 12CO and 13CO, respectively. The map covers a region of 1deg x 0.8deg, and is centered at the IRc2 position (RA(2000)=05:35:14.49, DEC(2000)=-05:22:29.3). The observing mode used was on-the-fly (OTF) mapping, scanning in right ascension, with 5'' of data sampling in RA and with steps of 12'' in declination. The reference position used, free of CO emission, is at an offset (-3600'',-1800'') with respect to IRc2 position. Typical weather conditions were opacities of 0.1-0.2 corresponding to 1-3 mm of precipitable water vapor, and system temperatures of 300-500K. The full maps consist of several submaps, observed under different conditions in each observing run. Before combining all the submaps, several corrections were applied due to the different calibration and pointing errors. Besides, further corrections were needed between HERA pixels with different calibration and misalignment. After all of these corrections were applied, the final map was constructed using a pixel size of 5.5''. See Berne et al.(2014) for more details. File description: orionA_12CO.lmv, orionA_13CO.lmv: Position-velocity data cubes for the 12CO and 13CO J=2-1 lines, in GILDAS format. Intensity scale is in antenna temperature, and velocity resolution is ~0.4 km/s. orionA_12CO.dat, orionA_13CO.dat: ASCII files with the integrated intensity, obtained for all velocity ranges. Columns in the file are: (1) the observation number, (2,3) the offsets in current angle units, (4,5) Area and rms noise. Offsets are with respect to the central map position (RA(2000)=05:35:14.49, DEC(2000)=-05:22:29.3), and area and rms are in units of K km/s in antenna temperature.
